I ended up just using some super glue to attach the magnets, but other than that, the pan is great.

I love these half pans for making homemade watercolors. I needed the product quickly and a decent amount for a good price. These were all that and more than I expected. There are a ton of them so it’ll last a while for a lot of projects. The size is accurate for a half pan. The plastic seems good quality and sturdy. They’re white in appearance. I’m super happy that it also comes with magnets to stabilize the half pans to a tin for traveling with your homemade paints or with filling the pans with tube paint. They are super lightweight.

These work perfectly fir making small amounts of paint,like watercolor. My only problem, even though I cleaned them and dried them,the magnets did not stick to the bottom with the addition of superglue

I bought these to add extra pans to existing palettes, and they work great. You just peel the backing off the magnet, stick it to the bottom of the pan, and put it in your metal palette. Magnets are strong enough to hold the filled half pans in place. You get 50 magnets, and 48 pans, so I have plenty left over after filling empty spaces in two palettes. Great value for the price.Edit one week later: the sticky part of the magnets holds for about 5 days before it falls off the back of the pan. Will have to use glue. Not really a deal breaker, but it is an extra step people buying these will probably have to take.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a nail artist and I use this to put gel paints in. This case provides easy access to 40 gel colors whenever I need to hand paint nail art onto my clients or press-on nail orders. I love that there is a lid to protect the gels and that each pan has a magnet to solidly stick in the case. Other reasons why I love this product is that it's compact, portable, and it was easy to assemble.

I got this because it fit in the little case and I thought it would be great. It didn't work for traveling, there is no palette area, the magnets aren't great, and I even got glued them. It's cute to store extra pans you don't plan on carrying.I ONLY use it when I'm putting paint from tubes into pans and want a dust free place for them to dry. Note: I live in a dry dusty place so I don't know if that would work for a wetter climate.

This watercolor box is very charming and perfect size to carry around. I will be making some watercolors so now I have a place to put them! For the modest costs I will buy more at some point.

I think I read every single review on this product. I was actually hesitant as to whether or not it would be useful to me. Come to find out, it's perfect!I used the magnetic strips to hold the individual cups down. My set lays flat on my desk, so they do not fall out, due to magnet weakness. I can certainly understand how they could fall out if you move the tin from one place to another, including traveling with it. The individual cups do move around a bit but I haven't found that it has been an issue at all. I did to a color chart to assure the order of the colors, should one or more come out. When I need to replace specific paint colors, I only take out one cup at a time.When I spray the pallet with water, I do take care to wipe off any excess water off the tin. I don't know that I read anything about rust, but I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. I would definitely purchase another one of these tins, when I need to add more colors from tubes. A great buy for me!

Amé este contenedor , es Perfecto pra guardar las acuarelas. Pero sólo es para guardarlas y transportarlas , si lo buscan también como paleta no servirá por el material. Yo sólo lo quería para poder transportar mis acuarelas en algo más pequeño y compacto ; así que me ha quedado Perfecto!

Disappointing for several reasons: the box is rounded whereas the cups are square, loss of space which leaves more cups than necessary out of the box. The magnets do not stick to the cups at all, they come off and stay stuck to the box. Not practical. Had to re-glue each and every cup with a glue gun.

For some reason I thought this tin would be bigger, but it is a really cute tin to hold your paints in. I love Monet as a painter so it was a no brainer for me to get this tin!

Arrived before then scheduled. Feel real nice in hands and so far all looks exactly as advertised.
