The best shampoo for curly hair!
After going to the hair salon and being asked for many years straight if I swim a lot or use a lot of heat products (both of which I do not), I finally decided to figure out what was the cause of my frizzy, poofy, dry hair. I ordered this due to reading reviews from r/curlyhair on Reddit. Initially I didn’t have high hopes for it because as a beginner to fixing my potential curly hair, I wasn’t sure if a quick shampoo fix would be enough for my hair. After using this product for well over a year now, I have never seen my hair more healthier! I do not use any heat products and wash my hair every other day, sometimes 2 days in between, and my hair has now the natural curls that have been hiding in the frizz this whole time! I also use the Shea Moisture conditioner after I shampoo my hair and I use my comb to comb it out when I’m in the shower. This shampoo works wonders for curly hair!!!!

I really liked this shampoo I recently switched to it. I have wavy/curly hair and it has helped make my hair shiny. ONLY THING is that the papaya smell be making my nose tingle. if your sensitive to smell either suck it up like me or try the other shampoos. other then that i love it

Poor consistency
Like most of the Shea products, but some are not adequately tested. This one was too watery and gloppy, hard to get an even flow after shaking it, to cone out.

This is shampoo, not conditioner.
The listing says “conditioner” in the title, but if you look at the product images, the bottle says shampoo, and that’s what you receive. Do not buy this if you’re thinking it’s conditioner.

Not what I wanted
This product didn't work as described. Instead of conditioning my hair it washed it. It says shampoo on the label instead of conditioner.

perfect for my curly wavy hair
I have a mix of types of curls...spiral tight ones on top whilst the rest is more the botticelli type.. My hair is very fine even though curly and can get weighed down.This product is perfect. I only wash my hair about every 5 days and it is so far staying not frizzy but with accentuated curls. ... LOVE the scent. Hope that Amazon will continue to carry it...

No effects at all
My hair is thick and wavy, I used four times to be sure but there was no way: the scent is terrible, super citric. It doesn't look like a shampoo - it's super liquid (same with the conditioner), I had to use three times more than usual to feel it in my hair and to create some lather. Definitely won't buy it again and don't recommend.

Too much hydration
I have thin hair but I have a lot of hair so it is hard to find a shampoo that will clean my scalp deeply but won’t over hydrate my hair. I have tried several Shea Moisture products but it seems they are too hydrating for my type of hair because I can feel a product build up in my scalp and on my roots. I tought this one would not be as hydrating as the other ones but it seems it is… Though it smells great and I bet it would do a great job on thicker hair.

Buy if you have frizzy hair
Must buy if you have thick frizzy hair! My hair is shiny, smooth and almost frizz free with this shampoo. I would recommend this brand to anyone who needs good hair care!!
