Great 7 Port USB Hub. No hassles just plug and play.
I love it :) I'm now able to keep my devices attached and use as and when needed now instead of it being showing all the time. Thank you Sabrent for the wonderful product wish these where made many moons ago but better late than never. Great Product.

The extra power you need for external hard drives.
I had been using a cheaper hub for drives and sticks but it struggled with spinning hard drives, this hub has the extra power to ensure they run properly. With USB powered external mechanical hard drive they now start up quickly run without any issues, and they run better through this hub that directly plugged into the PC USB socket - start quicker with no seeking and more stability.Only gripes are the buttons for each slot feel a bit soft and you have to be above to clearly see the on/off indicator light.

Perfect
Absolutely brilliant, I ne thought it'd work, because of what I'd tried prior to this, but it worked absolutely brilliantly.

Great Powered Hub
This is a great USB hub, each input is switchable and the hub is powered and must be powered to function so you will need a mains supply to use it

Power adapter doesn't appear to be up to the job.
Ordered one of these to use with my Amiga Mini, as a powered hub is recommended, and decided to test all the ports on the PC before getting all the wiring in place.I tested each port individually, with them switched off, plugging in the device and watch windows detect it, then switch off.The first peripheral was a USB 8bitdo controller, and only four of the seven ports (those furthest from the power/data connectors) worked. The other three caused windows to display a notification saying the USB port wasn't powerful enough to power the device. The second peripheral was a SanDisk Cruzer Blade 128gb memory stick, and the ports behaved exactly as before. If I'd wanted to only use 4 ports, I'd have ordered a 4 port hub, so I processed a return, and decided to order another one, as this could simply be a faulty unit. The second one arrived this morning (February 4th), and I repeated the tests, using the same peripherals, and again, the four ports furthest from the power/data connectors work, and the nearest three don't have enough power. Both of these peripherals work fine in a different USB hub that's permanently connected to the PC, and when directly plugged in to the PC.I re-read the product description, just to make sure there aren't any power-only ports on this model, and they're all supposed to be data ports (Windows would ignore them if they're data only). So I've now processed a return for the second one. It's disappointing, as the unit itself was an ideal size for where I was planning to place it, the switches on the unit work nicely, and having a detachable data cable is handy should I need to use a longer one.I ordered this as it had over 85% 4* and 5* reviews, but unfortunately these two aren't working properly, so I'll have to look for something else.

Works like another brand didn't
I had been using an Anker 7-port hubUSB3.0 (H7928-U3 - no longer available on Amazon) - with a 36 watt supply that it needed to work at all, yet this was power that it seemed to refuse to share with the connected USB peripherals. Hence USB3.0 bus powered HDDs wouldn't work, nor would a USB3 to Ethernet adapter. So after reading a few "best buy" articles I bought this Sabrent hub. It just worked like I had expected the Anker hub to work. I'll look for the Sabrent brand in future. Not worth knocking off a star for, but the only disappointment is that the LEDs to indicate the power switch to each port is on are so dim that they are only visible in a dark room ! But of course with any more light one can just about make out if the switches are pushed down !

Bardzo wygodny hub
Idealny i jakościowy wybór jako USB hub. Nie spodziewałem się, że przyciski to taka wygoda – podłączyłem i nie trzeba ciągle wyjmować kabli. Jedyny minus to konieczność ręcznego przedłużania gwarancji. Jeśli potrzebujesz po prostu więcej portów, to w zupełności wystarczy.

Works OK
Sabrent 36W 7-Port USB 3.0 HubI use this for writing backup files from my desktop computer to a flash drive every night. All 7 of the ports work. I wrote a script to compare the speed of file transfer between ports on this hub and the native USB 3.0 ports on the front of the computer. It's a very fast computer with an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard, and those native ports are connected directly to that motherboard. The file source was an internal RAM disk, infinitely fast compared to USB. There was no difference in speed between the ports, whether the destination flash drive was a fast one or a slow one.Once a month I write five flash drives at once, and I expect this hub to handle that perfectly. If it doesn't, I will update this report.I don't need 36 watts or individual port switches, but maybe some day?OOPS - Now it's not so good. I make most of my flash drives bootable, using Macrium Reflect, so the images on the drives can be restored easily. But the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard does not find those flash drives. As if they are not connected at all.The USB cable length doesn't matter, nor does the port that I use on the 7-port Sabrent hub, nor does the brand or type of flash drive. Tried 'em all. And all of the flash drives will boot up just fine when plugged in directly to the front of computer, where a short cable within the computer connects to the mobo. This not a huge problem, because I would use a front or back connection if I really needed to restore a drive. It's more of an inconvenience, because it makes it a little harder to test a flash drive.I need to get to Sabrent and see what they have to say.SERIOUS UPDATE: The review changes from 5 stars to 1 star (preferably zero).Elated and angry. Elated because I finally discovered why my computer was exhibiting so many sudden "Black Screen of Death" reboots. Angry because the cause was this Sabrent 7-Port USB Hub which was doing nothing when the reboots occurred. The reboots seemed to be random, so I had no idea what might cause them and spent good money on three (very nice) Tripp-Lite surge suppressors. I was already using a UPS for the computer itself. More important, I spent hours upon hours trying to find the problem, never imagining that it could be a device that was plugged in but not even in use when the reboots happened. I wrote scripts, attempting to repeatedly exercise non-microsoft software (VeraCrypt, 7-Zip, ImDisk) to produce the error reliably, to no avail.I kept a log of the black screens, and that did help. Finally my little brain connected the start of the black screens to the time that I purchased the Sabrent 7-Port USB Hub. Since disconnecting that, no such reboots have occurred. I do need a hub during certain procedures, but the replacement ikuai 11-Port hub has not caused reboot problems. It has other problems, and it's going back, but that's a separate review. The Sabrent hub was unquestionably the cause. However, in my opinion, the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard is also partly at fault, because it should be designed well enough to prevent a USB-connected device from bringing down the computer.2024 03 05 Another update. Maybe the Sabrent isn't the problem after all. It's definitely not "unquestionably" the cause. I replaced it with a new RSHTech 7-port USB hub, and the black-screen reboots continue. I'm stumped right now, actually starting to suspect my UPS of spikes or momentary cutouts. Anyway I think the Sabrent is OK.
