Hello - please can you advise whether this tape is suitable to make my own tape extensions using human hair? Is this the correct base tape?

This tape is for fixing hair systems. The tape goes tacky after a week or so and needs to be replaced. Not sure if it would be ideal for making your own hair extensions unless you intend on remaking them every week. It will hold a bespoke hair piece in place even in high winds (it is very strong)
