I put my monitor on the stand and it leans forward a decent bit. Any way to fix this or do I just need a new stand?

I have the same issue, it leans forward about 10 degrees give or take. The only solutions i can think of is either a wall mount or get a platform of some kind that leans back a bit to compensate

Yes. your HDMI and or DP cable might be outdated newer HDMI can achieve 144hz at certain resolution but it has to be the correct gen. DP cables will also allow for your to use freesync and vsync

Is it too high an expectation to get 100hz out of this monitor with a 2080ti founders, or is this monitor more suited for an amd chip due to freesync?

The monitor caps at 144hz but if you have a 2080ti it is better to get a 240hz monitor to take full advantage of the 2080ti and it’s graphic power
