Very good table saw sled
This is ideal for a single side, variable angle TS sled. It is very comparable to Rockler's, but the Powertec has T-slots on the front and top of the fence, with room to add a measuring tape if desired. Assembly is easy and registering the 0 degree angle is too, with an easily read, micro-adjustable vernier. The instructions tell you to apply 3 non-stick strips underneath, but 4 came with it so I added it next to the blade cut edge. The hold-down and fence stop are Powertec's standard ones, and they work well. The angle markings are inlaid, so not likely to get marred. This is only for the left side of the blade, best used with a right-tilt blade with up to about 6" between the left miter slot and the blade. One complaint has been the soft plastic miter bar fine tuning inserts, which are a little flimsy but should work. I didn't even need them because the bar precisely fit my 3/4"x3/8" miter slot on my old Powermatic Artisan contractor saw. I had to very slightly file out the edges of the slot underneath the sled to fit the miter bar. No big deal. Another common complaint is the material of the sled base. 1/2" MDF, even melamine surfaced, is a little fragile compared to quality birch plywood. But it glides very smoothly, and if it matters you can add melamine edging. It will get nicked in use anyway, so this doesn't bother me. I see the 1/2" thickness as an asset since it is thinner than the more common 3/4" sleds, but still plenty stiff and lighter. One can easily add a equivalent panel for the right of the blade to hold the cut-off level. Finally, damaged items are sometimes noted. Mine arrived on time, very well boxed without any sign of damage. And I bought a "Like New" sample, for barely over $100. Altogether, I am extremely pleased, and hope more purchasers have the same experience. It will do anything any other sled can do (apart from one in which the blade is centered) and is a great value. I've found Powertec products generally to be of high quality and reasonably priced.

Great miter gage and great small part sled, fantastic value
Better than I expected. Once I zeroed out the miter, it is dead on and repeatable at 90 degrees. That is all I tested. Very sturdy, easy assembly and setup, did not have to look at the directions. Love the fence and the graduations. The stop is stiff enough for real use. the adjustment for the slide works very well. I would buy it again if I needed one. The small parts sled is also better than expected. It is 90 degrees as best I could measure with a good framing square. No adjustments needed. Nice fit and finish. The only thing that could be better is the adjustments on the slide bar are nylon set screws from the side that are tedious to adjust and move with use. Need to add some Loctite or something I suppose. Great value and saved a lot of time instead of designing and building one from scratch. Feels very safe now to make small wood pieces.

Saved my hardwood job!
I bought this because I was installing hardwood floors in the upstairs of my house. The door opening looks 90º, but isn’t. I needed to start flush against the doorway, but that would have set the boards at an angle to the room. To get it all straight, I needed to cut the first piece in a taper about 3/8” different across a 3’ doorway. There were several jigs available to do this, but this one was reasonably priced and would arrive promptly. I spent about 45 minutes setting it up, then I used it to cut my tapered piece. I must admit I was somewhat surprised that it was a perfect fit on the first try. No one will ever notice that this one piece is tapered, but it allowed the rest of the room to fit straight and it worked perfectly. Later, doing a landing at the top of the stairs, the landing step and the bathroom opening across from it were not quite parallel. Again, a taper was my solution and this jig again provided perfect results. I will emphasize that both tapers I cut are highly visible and had no room for error. This jig allowed me to rip them perfectly. I read some reviews wishing for sturdier materials and such, but the miter slot rail fit smoothly, it operated nicely with the saw, and it it sturdy enough to hold your wood securely for a tapered rip. Just take care of it and it will be fine. Do check the measurements they list to be sure your saw is within range for this to work, but if it is, then you won’t be disappointed. I am very happy with this jig and would recommend it for someone who needs to do something similar.

Very well made
Save time building one so you can start making 🫵the only thing I miss is the other part of the sled to catch the drop off

Cuando se cambia de ángulo no es fácil volver a los 90 grados, resulta tardado realizar los ajustes

This jig is overpriced, in the US it sells for less than $100. Also, my miter slot on the DWE7491RS is apparently too far from the blade to make zero clearance (over 1 inch). I reported this to the vendor and they said I could drill new holes further out or return it. I drilled new holes and luckily was precise and it all worked in the end but for this price it should be a lot wider to start with, and then let the customer cut it down to size for zero clearance!
