how long is this doll

I am sorry...I gave it as a gift so cannot measure it, but I would think 11 or 12 inches...just checked the description at Amazon, and it is 12". It is very soft and cuddly.

What is the fabric? i hate microfiber feeling fabric. does it pill? fuzzier stick to it? or does it stay soft??

I have been very happy with this doll. No, there is no pilling and the fabric is soft. The doll is justthe right size for a little ones hands to hold and love. Hope this helps.

Does the soft fluffy sleeper and hood come off the doll or is that part of the construction of the doll?

I do believe that the hood can be pulled from the head, but the hoodie is part of the doll's outfit and is all one piece. One other thing you might keep in mind. I sadly sent this very sweet doll back because the sleeper material was so thin and there was a lot of fuzz that would go right into a young child's mouth. But by all means, check it out for yourself. Perhaps you'll have better luck.
