Maui Moisture Gift Set, Vegan Shampoo and Conditioner Set with Reusable Water Bottle, Hibiscus & Aloe Vera

I've never experienced issues with Maui until now. Both my boyfriend and I have been using it for a week and our scalps are sore, itchy and scabbing. Turns out this product has ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL in it????? Sensitive skin people steer clear. Awful stuff. Smells amazing but that's where the good stuff ends.

This is the only shampoo that I’ve come across that has no harmful ingredients in and is still an affordable price!! My scalp and hair have never felt so healthy after years of suffering from dandruff and dry, frizzy hair due to using cheap supermarket brands with harmful ingredients in, I’m now dandruff free and my hair is so nice and soft!! I’m never going back.PSA Make sure you do two washes and really massage your scalp with it, also I recommend researching about different hair types such as high/low porosity before you decide which of Maui’s shampoos to try, I think this one is good for low porosity, obviously this specific shampoo won’t be great for every hair type but I definitely 100% recommend you try this brand of shampoo whichever version of it you decide to pick!!

I tried this product as an upgrade from the OGX products I have used before. I am extremely disappointed. The smell is poor, to feminine for my tastes, although I recognize I am a man, but this has an overly sweet scent that is overwhelming.The shampoo is thick and viscous, making it difficult to get out of the bottle, and the conditioner is even worse. it lathers acceptably when enough is used but leaves my hair dry and coarse. It was extremely unmanageable and rough to the touch. I have bleached hair and would have thought a "moisture" product would work well with it. no, not at all. none of the scents are imparted on their hair during the washing process either, which I suppose is small mercy but still not want I want from a shampoo. You need to use quite a bit to get a good lather, and so it just doesn't last. I have stopped using this and switched to a better shampoo (that isn't even specially formulated for treated hair) and my hair is already much softer and healthier in less than a week.Top it all off the bottle really is obnoxiously pink and looks terrible on my bathroom shelf. these are going straight in the bin, and I won't be purchasing this brand again. Considering it is one of the more intermediate priced drug store brands is what really takes the biscuit. Spend an extra couple of pounds on this bottle and wish you had just bought herbal essences really.Treat your hair properly, buy a decent, high-quality shampoo - it will last longer and your hair will thank you.

I use shampoo bars from a well known Vegan company! They are fab but my hair gets used to shampoo quickly and reverts to being greasy and lank in a day so I thought to mix things up a bit I would try this. I wanted the water bottle also!This set arrived as a pretty boxed set ( present to self) and has given my hair something different to think about so job done.The scent is underwhelming, undetected once rinsed tbf and the conditioner is so thick it refuses to leave the bottle.But the water bottle is cute.

Was very disappointed with this shampoo. I normally like Maui products and really love their heat protectant spray, but this shampoo was actually awful. It left my hair with a sort of greasy, sticky residue after I washed with it, despite literally spending forever trying to make sure it was all washed out properly. Any time I've tried to use it, I've had to quickly go back in with another shampoo just to wash the remnants of this one out. Such a shame. Would not recommend this particular shampoo even if other Maui products are nice.
