It is a 2-sided whiteboard on a stand that’s meant to sit on a desk. No magnets!

Q: What are the little round things in the plastic pouch for?

Thank you for your inquiry. The extra bag of 4 O-rings(2pvc rings and 2 silicon rings) are offered, you can put them between the knob and the stand for better durability if you like.

Q: On which side does one put the rings (the side touching the board, or the side touching the knob). which rings go where?

It is the side touching the board that you can put the rings. If possible, you can also put the rings on both sides.

Q: Does this whiteboard contain a maker with it?

Yes, and its cap has a magnet to grip to the board.
