Reliable as always
Grumbacher is reliable as always, but the Academy is just to buttery for me. I like the thicker Grumbacher original the best. If you like the Bob Ross consistency, you may like this.

Academy equals Opaque
Ive used Grumbachers “Academy” oil paints lately and note they provide a more opaque coloring in lieu of the standard cadmium. Just a different medium. Definitely has it’s place in oil paint colors.
