Solved LG microwave no heat issue.
Solved my LG LSMH207ST issue of no heat and no turntable movement. I didn't test it but noticed that there was some white residue on mine that looked out of place (see pic). I went ahead and shorted the capacitor with 2 screwdrivers so I wouldn't get shocked and did the install in about 30 minutes (including microwave front panel disassembly and reassembly). Before the repair when you tried to hear something the light inside would turn on and the countdown timer would start bit no buzzing from the magnetron and the turntable wouldn't move.

Who would’ve thought 8.99 would make your microwave work again
Who would’ve thought an $8.99 piece would keep you from having to spend $500 on a new microwave. Just be careful on discharging the capacitor.

Our LG microwave works again!
This fixed our problem with intermittent heating. Online advice said this is a common failure item with LG microwaves. For the low price, it's worth taking a chance. Note that this is a "high voltage diode" and testing with a hand-held multimeter won't give useable results. Easier to just install the new part and see if the microwave works again.

Came next day!
Fixed broken microwave (DIY) for less than $8! Repair service wanted nearly $200. Pays to do research on what are really simple repairs!

but it read good on meter
couldn't get it to work, no reading on meter ! So I went to appliance store and bought another one, pay a little more, but it read good on meter.
