As diabetics, we all know and anticipate the 'ouch' when using lancets. This little thing almost removes that anticipation. It works so well that I bought another.Can you use this for alternate sites? YES! And you don't need to change the tip like some of the other lancet devices require. This device has an adjustable depth for that purpose.I absolutely will NOT use my fingers when checking my blood sugar, so I use my palms. This lancet device works great for this. I set it on 4 and it pricks my palm just enough to get a sample. Most of the time I can't even feel the sting.Another great feature of this device is the ability to eject the lancet without having to manually pull it out. You simply remove the top, push the ejector forward and out pops the lancet. No chances of sticking yourself.Like all things, it will take time to see how it holds up. About the only thing I can see eventually wearing out is the spring inside, but nothing lasts forever. As inexpensive it is, grab a few spares.

I bought this in hopes that it wouldn't be as painful as my other lancing device (even at the lowest setting). Glad I got it, because it works great! Finger pricks are a lot less painful and sometimes painless! Easy to load and use. Numbers on depth selector are easy to read and adjust.

Compared to my old one, this is superb. It pricks the finger quick so you dont feel much, and at #5 setting it draws enough blood without having spend time stopping the bleeding. Howver, the tip unscrews off with a half turn, but the depth gauge is often moved so make sure to chexk it so you dont end up hurting your finger. This half twist seems like it will give out quick since its plastic on plastic. Other than that i like it better than my old one.

The unit that came with the tester didn't work, This one works the first time every time. No more trying three or four times to get enough blood for test strip.

I received my Lancing Device in a timely manner and I was impress with how well made it was. The instructions were eacy to understand and after repeated uses it continued to work correctly seemed to be well made. I like it!

The tester is hard to use as I cannot adjust so I get a good stick.

This is the first lancing device I have ever bought, they usually come with whatever tester I am buying. The last tester I bought did have a lancing device with it BUT I could not get the lancet to engage in it, and yes, the lancet came with it so it wasn't that the lancet was a "different kind". I did have an old lancing device that I used with it, but noticed that I could hardly draw blood from my left hand fingers. This are my "go to" fingers because I can USUALLY get blood easily from them. I suppose the skin has become calloused and the lancing device became inoperable for drawing blood from these fingers. I was just looking around the Internet and decided to go to the search engine and look for "lancing devices" being sold separately from the testing device. Low and behold I found Amazon carried them! I'm a Prime member of Amazon and went right to the site, clicked on this device, read the reviews which were outstanding, and bought it without hesitation. It had everything I wanted. It was cheaper than most, it had more levels with which to use to draw blood with, it was small enough to fit into my tester case and it would be delivered to my house within 2 days!! It filled all my requirements. The first time I used it I couldn't believe any blood came out because it didn't hurt whatsoever, but when I looked blood was coming out of my finger! I'll NEVER use another lancing device because this one is PERFECT!! Thanks Amazon for carrying many products that I truly need or really want and can't get them anywhere else.

The spring didn't work making it useless.Thrown in the bin as too much hassle to return
