As soon as I took these out of the packaging I was suspicious. They're so heavily coated in resin that they feel like plastic, specifically melamine. I washed them with soap and they were squeaky clean, which is unlikely for this light of a wood. Even very dense woods typically don't squeak when they're clean.These appear to be made of a relatively high density wood that has been completely saturated in epoxy resin. Since the manufacturers don't tell us what temperature these are safe at, or what the resin is, or if it is even food safe at all, it's impossible for me to recommend these to anyone.On the one hand, I should've seen the "It is forbidden to put in high temperature materials." point in the item description but c'mon. That's like buying stainless steel cutlery that says "don't expose to water" in the fine print. When I'm buying wooden cutlery I expect it to be wooden, not plastic.TL;DR Probably poisonous, don't buy these.P.S. There have been a bunch of negative reviews of this product but only one of them hasn't been deleted, other than mine. I'm just saying.

I really wanted to like this but I can't give it a positive review. This is because the spoon is far too shallow. It probably holds less then a teaspoon's amount and only because of the width of the bowl part is wide. To give you a better idea, you could not use this spoon to eat soup or cereal. It's only good for lifting up chunkier foods.

These are well made, light weight and easy to clean!DO NOT PUT THEM IN YOUR DIS WASHER- they will be toasted and tossed on the first wash!This is absolutely a hand wash and air dry set!Kids love them and we have ordered these as gifts, stocking stuffers and daily use for our noodle, ramen, udon obsession!Great value for the money- and well made!Spence

They are easy to clean and light weight but they just bent so easily after each wash. I bought 4sets but I am throwing away most of chopsticks. Not worth the money. Almost like the disposable chopsticks but much more expensive.

It looks good. But it made in china.Seller need to change the product name.

It is not made in korea or korean brand. It's made in China and a chinese brand. It is misleading. I was going to return them but decided to just use it to save a trip to the return center. They are a lot lighter in weight.compare to my other wooden spoons and chopsticks. I wouldn't buy them again but buy ones made in Vietnam, which seems sturdier.

These are really lovely, I just wanted to buy a pair of nice wooden chopsticks without all the bells and whistles in decoration, and I would have spent this money just for them! The spoons are just gorgeous gravy! Really impressed!

Great chopstick set. I haven't tried out the spoon yet, I'm sure it's great too, but the chopsticks are really comfortable to hold, lightweight and easier to use than others I've tried before. A perfect length, not too long. I used them earlier on with some chow mein and I managed a decent amount before giving up and grabbing a fork. I'll work on it! Still, I'd definitely recommend the set. I'm glad I bought them. Quick delivery, packaged really well along with other items I'd bought.

...problem was most the metal ones that looked good needed me to buy half a dozen, and I'm only making for myself, but this set looked nice, and the chopsticks easy to use and reuse. I'm definitely sold on having the spoon, and this set is quite nice to eat with.

My partner and I love these, were a little tricky to get used to and there was cramping. (Oh my god the cramp) but that all passed very quickly and I doubt that had anything to do with the product itself and rather to do with my hands never experiencing it before.They clean well, don’t hold a smell and the wood is smooth, so no nasty splinters!

very comfortable to use. easy to clean. suitable for dishs that you don't want to scratch.
