Great set for beginners
My son loved the set. Especially the belt holder. Wish they made the holder for All the yo-yo.

Not as shown on commercials but boys loved it anyway
I had read some negative reviews but I bought this anyway because it was number 1 on my son's birthday list. I'm glad I did because he loved it. The yoyo aspect is as expected by the reviews - basically non functional as a yoyo. But...he loves it anyway. Both of my sons (age 8 and 3) really like to clip the carrier to their pants & pretend that the yoyo is any number of things - a badge, a pager, some kind of magical device, etc and they absolutely adore wearing the sleeve.If you are expecting it to do all kinds of yoyo tricks, you will be disappointed, but as a pretend toy, it's pretty cool looking & apparently has many uses to an 8 yr old boy!

Not at all smooth
The ring is too small even for a 6 year old. The string is not at all smooth. It doesn’t go even half a feet away from your hand. Waste of money I would say.
