These parts were just what I needed. Was able to repair some old fishing rods with the new eyelets. The plastic container is brittle and got crushed on one side during shipping, but the parts were the real deal. Thanks!

Arrived quickly in perfect condition. Perfect fit for fixing 2 guides for my St Croix 10'6" surf rod. Sure beats having to replace the entire guides. This kit is an inexpensive solution for guide insert replacement. Thank you for a great product.

This was a nice kit and all but after several failed attempts and asking many fisherman, including charter captains and bait shops that make rod repairs 100% of the response I got was don't even bother to replace the insert, it "never works" and it will fail again. I assumed this was the right solution but, it was not the way to go at all. Replace the entire guide, if you don't know how, pay someone who does. Lesson learned for me.

Wow, fishing rod repair kit was just what I needed, I have an old Phoenix 8-17lb rod, the insert on the top guide gave out and on my Celilo 2-6lb rod the top insert was busted too, was gonna take to the shop. The Dovesun inserts worked like a charm! Apoxy'd right in, perfect fit, couldn't be happier, sure am glad it was so easy especially for the Phoenix which hadn't been used in years! Awesome and of course, Amazon sent the kit over the next day! Perfection!!

I’m very happy I found these and even more happy that they worked. The only negative was it was not a perfect fit in the guide but was so close it worked well. I used a gel super glue that was water resistant to secure it in place.

Used it to repair my oldest and favorite poles. Some of the rings were miss fitted either 1mm to big or small but worked still. I recommend using a locking rubbered needle nose or tweezers with locks. Was kind of rough holding the rings in place till glue dried with the tweezers provided.

Saved my favorite rod, and replaced one guide ring, the second ring size was not included in the set, unfortunately. Installing the ring is easy, you need to use small plyers to put the ring in place.I am giving 4 stars because there are no instructions on how to install the rings, and the ring size that I was looking for was not included. Otherwise, the product works.

Very cheap product. To install three replacement eyelets I ended up breaking two of these garbage little inserts. They are definitely not easy to install.... they are not shaped correctly for an easy installment like others do. This brand is no good very disappointing. Another Amazon rip off.
