Q: What color is the writing on the ottoman ? Is it gray?

It is indeed grey, I love, love, love my ottoman!!!

Q: How do you install the feet? They don't screw in. I am turning and turning and they're not going anywhere except around and around =(

Mine came with black caps over screws on feet. They had to come off first.

Q: What are the sides constructed of? Is it solid on the center of the side panels? I'm considering adding table extension hinges.

All four sides are solid. May be wood or particle board. Unsure as all surfaces are covered.

Q: How does it spot clean? Easy to clean? Does it leave water marks?

Yes it’s very easy to clean. I have a puppy a d she loves to jump on ottoman after being outside. Spot cleaning is easy. No water spot. I love this ottoman.
