I took delivery 5 days ago so can't comment on long term reliability yet.I can say that storage devices' capacity are misleading/confusing. This drive is marketed as 500Gb, in reality it is 477Gb, probably due to storage being used by driver data?It's connected to my smart TV for storage and copes very, very well with being tasked to record & replay full HD TV shows.No noise & no psu required - it gets power from the TV via the USB cable (included).If used for other purposes such as mobile data/backup I can confirm that it is small in size but big in performance, real world read/write are really fast. All this and as expected with ssd, silent.I'll update after six months but chances are it'll be replaced by a newer model by that time, that's tech for you! 😊

Have couple of these from ADATA and no trouble. Excellent speeds and robust. This one must be faulty. I finished backing up data (music files), which took capacity to about 75%, disc locks and can't be accessed. Need a refund and therefore returned (excellent Amazon return service) but would be concerned if I had put any personal data on it and couldn't delete before return.

Paid around £60 for this drive as a means to improve performance on my Xbox One with certain games' loading times.Couldn't be happier with the result and the price is pretty reasonable. My experience has improved drastically to the point that a couple of friends have now bought one for the same reason.

A small, robust SSD drive that lives almost permanently attached to my MacBook (which only has a 256gb SSD). File transfer is very quick and problem free. I've just filled it with photos from the last year and very recently ordered another one of these drives. And when fills up I'll buy another. Why don't I buy a bigger SSD? Because I don't want all my eggs in one basket, that's why.

I can't comment on the durability as I've only had this a few weeks. But the drive is very small and light, with nice rubberised edges. All this suggests it will be harder to damage than my older USB portable HDD drives. Here's hoping.
