Ovitrol X-Tend Spot on For Cat, 5-Pound

This flea application seemed to work moderately but it did drive my cat crazy causing him to scratch quite a bit. I was not sure if my cat still had fleas or the solution was really irritating him. I use a flea comb quite regularly but most of the time I don't reveal any fleas. The application was a bit oily in comparison to other topical flea remedies. It took several days for the solution to dry out. Although I like the flea, tick and bot spray by Ovitrol which works quite well I wish I could recommend this over the others since it would have been a treatment with a much lower cost. I tried this since the Advantage II and Frontline Top Spot stopped being effective in controlling fleas.

when i had newborn kittens they were loaded with fleas so i took them to the vet to see if there was something i could use on them to kill the fleas and he gave me ovitrol spray to use and it killed the fleas while we were putting it on the kittens so i bought the spray to use on my other pets then i found the ovitrol shampoo and it was excellent, now they have ovitrol as a top spot for dogs and cats and im so happy, i use ovitrol on all my cats and dogs and it kills the fleas very fast, i never see any fleas or ticks on any of my pets anymore, you should try it , youll never go back to your old stuff, its great!

Really works!! I have bought so many products claiming to kill fleas and maintain for the 30 days and they don't.... This one does Extactly as it says in description it's my Only protection I will use now and I have numerous cats.

My cat was extremely lethargic for a couple days after applying the product, almost like he overdosed from the medicine. I don't usually write reviews, but wanted customers to have a heads up bc it was very disturbing to see his reaction to the meds.

Did not like this product. Have two cats and it did not work well at all.

Must apply directly to skin to be most effective.
