This is more like when you boil water in a pot and let the steam go to face to help with sinuses. It does the job, my face gets moist after use. I did buy another one with more steam.

If your cat is having chronic sinus infections and is snuffly and turning down food, this is probably the easiest and cheapest solution to create a mini kitty steam room.The way we've done it is, set up a box or platform; put the cat in a carrier on top of the platform facing the facial steamer; fill the water compartmemt with water; drape a towel over the front end of the carrier, loosely enclosing the steamer, to create a makeshift tent. Set a timer for 15-20 minutes so it won't boil dry. Repeat 1-3 times a day as needed.Congratulations, your cat is now feeling better and you're not having to run up the water bill to make it happen.
