Works quick, but NOBODY WARNED ME (SAD)
(Warning is at bottom) Not sure why some people are having the opposite experience, but this stuff works. I have bought it twice a few months apart. The first time was for rats that had found a way into my attic thru my crawlspace (which I'd thought I'd blocked them out of!). I put some up there every day, about 4 to 5 blocks, and they disappeared Day 1 and Day 2. The rats were running around up there having the time of their lives, they loved it and devoured it. Day 3 there were fewer eaten. Day 4 or maybe 5, this is the sad part, I heard what sounded like whimpering in my attic. It sounded very much like a puppy crying (I thought it was coming from outside at first!). I'm pretty sure it was the rat that was eating up all those blocks. Then, my house was silent. Unfortunately a few days later I heard another one make its way into the attic, probably following the pheromones from the previous one. I did the same thing and that one disappeared, no crying fortunately. No smell either, I think they both went outside to die somewhere. I blocked up what I thought were the entrances and I didn't have any noticeable problems for a few months. Recently, I had smelled the god-awful smell of rodent urine coming through my crawlspace up into my living area and I knew they made their way in again - and so, I bought these baits again. I used bait stations outside in three spots and they were disappearing steadily. Within a few days, I smelled the funk of dead animal. I knew one was dead, probably in my crawlspace. I looked around outside, couldn't find anything. A week later when that funk had FINALLY cleared, boom, dead animal funk again. And like 15+ flies in my house. Another one was dead, and this time super strong. Apparently, it found its way in a kitchen wall or just under. I saw 1 maggot on my kitchen floor the next day, so, yeah, that was traumatic. If there were more, I probably would've fainted. I have an old house w cracks and crevices, so it crawled from wherever (I shudder to think). This was maybe 3 days ago. Anyhow, I refilled the bait stations when I got home today (well, one station - the others are still full). Maybe an hour ago I heard something on the side of the house that the rats seemed to favor. It kind of sounded like wailing or heavy sighing in animal form. I can't confirm if it was a rat (maybe was a possum or raccoon because those pass by sometimes; idk if they make sounds like that, though). But I would feel really bad if it were a suffering rat. I've tried to block them out, but they just keep coming back and being more invasive, so you do what you have to do. Anyhow, no scritching heard tonight. If you have a rat issue, I would recommend these (over other brands I've tried). (1) They will definitely eat it; and (2) It will definitely kill. But if you have a soft spot in your heart, just be warned that sometimes these animals whimper and cry when they're in pain or distressed, so prepare yourself just in case. IN BRIEF: it works, but rats may make noises of distress and you may see maggots if they die in or under your home.

This stuff woeks.
This stuff works. It rings the dinner bell for al those little meeces. Then all of a sudden, there's no more feeders on the blocks. If you have no pets, you can leave it in strategic places around the home. If you have pets, you're going to have to use the old fashioned wooden mouse traps. I'd strongly recommend you wear rubber gloves while handling the blocks and cleaning up any loose residue.

Quick & Efficient
Rodents love the taste of these blocks and then do not make it very much longer from my experience. This bucket is full! It is the 2nd bucket I have bought of this for my farm shed to help rid of those pesky rodents.

โ ๏ธNo more Ratsโ ๏ธ
Works as advertised, Had an issue with Rats living under my chicken coop in burrows. My issue started when i purchased a new feeder that sat on top of a cinder block the rats started treating it like a buffet I since removed this feeder went to hanging feeders that are a foot or so off the ground anyway I Was using another brand of bait blocks that had been working really well but Rats being rats they stopped taking the bait so i decided to switch it up with this Brand Peanut butter flavored seems to have been the trick because they ate this stuff up like it was going out of style! My wife came to me last night said she smells death around the coop and after inspection i indeed found 6 dead rats one one was really stinking all died outside of the burrow my coop has a 20x10 run and i found them all outside of the run! Make sure you use bait stations if you are using this outside to prevent Non target deaths Wear gloves when baiting the stations if they smell you they will not go near the bait station and on initial baiting you may find they do not mess with the bait right away Rats are naturally Skittish and weary so place stations out and recheck in 5-7 days replacing bait at that time once they get used to the bait stations they will go and check it out

THIS PRODUCT NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANT !
Absolutely INCREDIBLE ! Mice in the fall have always shown more activity in our place of business. This fall was very different we feel due to a large construction project immediately adjacent to our building. We never seen anything like this in 28 years....the amount of mice traffic was far beyond reasonable. This product in 7 days completely cleaned house. The mice loved the scent and taste but did not ever return!!! Would not hesitate to recommend 100%.

THE GOOD and THE BAD
This is what my pest control guy uses BUT...the claim that it "eliminates rat and mice within a few days" is a stretch. The stuff kills mice & rats, without doubt, but it doesn't stop them coming. To the contrary, I think it attracts MORE! I've been refilling the bait stations quarterly for three years - and I still have rats ... and I live in a suburban patio home - not a farm or rural area! I do have a lot of foliage and a small pond ... but that can't be the only problem...I no longer put out bird feeders, I don't have fish in my pond... I don't know what is attracting all these rodents! Tracking down a stink in my garage today - I found a HUGE dead Norwegian rat covered in maggots. Not a pretty picture, so not posting :(

Bait blocks didn't work
The mice ate the blocks but didn't die. They ate about 4-5 blocks over about a week, but they didn't die and are still alive and healthy.
