Good lighting system
I've got two of these lights now, which work great on my 80L and 155L Aqua Oak tanks. Easy to install and fits just right, even the price tag is good. The setting/timer are easy to use and the Brightness of the lighting compliments my tanks landscape. Overall 10 out of 10. If they ever need a product testing, feel free to get intouch. You've got an Awesomw product there.

Good for tanks 12" deep, May need brighter for more depth.
Well made, reliable so far after a few hundred hours use. Doesn't get hot. The brightness should be great for tanks with a depth under 12". I really like them. Affordable, quality and effective.....but the buttons are stupid. The timer is preprogramed, thus it's a case of buying another timer if you don't want 8h 10h 12h timings. I think that's what they say, it's very tiny text. (8 hours of bright light will probably turn your tank green). Of course, you can dim the LEDs with the other button. Finally, the quirky mode changing button doesn't really do much, apart from turning off the red and white LEDs. If you want a blue marine aquarium, great. No red mode here though. No real variation in effect. This could have been handled in 2 modes? I don't get it.

Not fit for purpose
The media could not be loaded. Only 6 months old no way to return as 30day return window has closed the unit is. It waterproof it’s full of condensation that has caused the leds to flicker / go dim.

Good value aquarium light, slightly confusing controls
Trying to set this light up for the first time was slightly challenging as the controller is, shall we say, minimalistic. You definitely need the instructions so don't lose them in case you need to change settings in the future. With that said, when it's set up correctly it does a good job. Options for changing the light spectrum are respectable for something in this price bracket, and I've had reasonable plant growth.Would buy again for similar nano tanks.

Tank (freshwater) looks much better now with a light right across it rather than spotlight.
Really liking the simple timer function just toggle between durations. The only downside is that you do need to switch it on first at the time you want it to start from there on, but that also means no need to mess with a complex timer function. You just select how many hours on for daylight (6/8/10) and how many for moon light(2/4/6).It does retain the daylight/moonlight settings after losing power so you could use it with a timer to switch it on when you want it to start and then off after the moonlight period ends (or before if you wanted say a 1 hr or 3hr moonlight).FInally as its low profile its very unobtrusive my tank looks better now.

Great light, slightly awkward timer device.
The quality of the lights is great. I have a 40 litre tank which is growing out of control under this light. The only issue is the timing device. There are no clear instructions on how to use it. It's not intuitive and it took me a while to work it out. And when I did I found it was just easier to use a socket timer. You lose features that way, but I never had any confidence that the automated timer would turn on and off when I wanted it to. If you have time to play with it I'm sure you can get a decent setup going, but I don't have the time. I think I'll just go for the more basic model next time. The pictures I have uploaded are less than 2 months apart, and it's had a trim already!

Not reliable
Purchased two of these, both lasted around 14months and then failed within a few weeks of each other. Nice while they lasted but not reliable.

GREAT TO HAVE DIMMER SETTING ON THIS LIGHT!
The media could not be loaded. THIS IS MY FIRST DAY WITH IT. But it seems to be finished well, lights up very bright but has about 4 dimmer settings on both the white and on the blue leds. (Can be on blue only if you want) Some people had problems with kepping water out, so after watching a youtube video, i glue guned mine at every seem, so i hope this keeps the water out. Its a simple "plug n play" set up, no mess, no fuss. Its a fair price for a light which would cost a lot more from a different brand. Juwels light units are around £200! Treat yourself and buy this led light unit, i think you will be pleased with it!
