The holes were a little larger than I thought they would be. The tea gets stuck in them and it is difficult to get out. There is still a fair amount of residue leaching out into the water.

It is nice to see a company take such an interest with an inexpensive item- something which many manufacturers/sellers of even bigger-ticket items often will not do. They even contacted me personally. While this product was not optimal for me, I would not hesitate to deal with Fusion Zen again in the future. ]I was expecting these to be bigger based on dimensions listed in the description. In reality, they are only 2" tall by 1.5" in diameter at the bottom, and 2" in diameter at the top. If you're just making a single, small cup of tea, that is sufficient to hold a teaspoon or so of tea, while allowing enough room for the tea to expand properly. Any more than that, and there is not sufficient room for the tea to expand as it should to be properly diffused. Obviously, this did not fit my requirements for making a 14-16oz. cup of tea. It's good for a 6oz. cup.If the above were the only issue, I would still give it a higher rating, but there is more (or should I say less? :D):These things are not made of a mesh screen, like a typical tea-ball is. They are made from solid metal which has been drilled with many tiny holes. Looking at it in your hand, it almost looks solid, but hold it up to the light, and it almost looks like mesh, the holes are so fine. Should work fine, no? No. Despite the fact that the holes are tiny, some pieces of tea leaves always manage to end up in the cup.AND, for some reason, they just don't allow as good a steeping as a normal tea-ball/infuser. I just can't get as strong a cup of tea with these as I do with my tea ball- even if I add extra tea, and let it steep longer. It just doesn't work as good.And to top it off, it's a little harder to clean than a standard infuser.Looked like a good idea, but in practice, it just doesn't work.

Perfect size for a cup of tea! I let my Oolong seep in the mug for a few minutes and then usually take it out and re-steep with a second cup of water half an hour later. Clasps shut neat and tight. Simple to use and simple to clean. Little string dangles outside the cup and I can wrap once around handle and bend the end piece a little so that I can swoop it through one of the circles and then string is secured around my handle. I even use this steeper with my travel mug by just letting it drop to the bottom before closing the travel mug and heading out to class. Very pleased with this product!

I wish the chain was longer, but the infuser is large enough and hold enough leaves to make a pot of tea.

I like these strainers a lot - they are easy to open, fill, and clean. I pop them in the top rack of the dishwasher for cleaning and they always come out looking great!UPDATE: I previously gave this four stars and I had said there was an issue with these because there was no counterweight to keep the chain out of your tea, however a friend pointed out that they have a hook which you use to loop the chain around the handle of your mug. This is actually amazing design! I feel very silly for not realizing its purpose before!

Too much of the loose leaf tea end up in the tea. Not sure if something is wrong with the top or the holes are too big.

Tea infuser works as intended. I use it for a single cup of jasmine tea in the morning. The chain on the top hangs over the side of my cup for easy removal after steeping. My wife also tried the infuser to make soup. She stuffed it with dried thyme and clipped the hook at the end of the chain onto the lip of the pot. Imparted the flavor of thyme into the French leek and potato soup without unsightly herb fragments floating around.

This infuser works great. I have had problems in the past with the lids getting loose, but not anymore. The lid has a tight seal by locking in place with a twist.The holes are well sized as well, keeping tea residue out of the mug.Service was equally as good as the product. It arrived in two days in good condition, and comes with a delicious recipe!
