Moves around under shoe, depending on how a person walks.
I haven't had a chance to walk over ice with these, but they gradually shift to the inside of my Nike size 10 1/2 US sneakers until they have me risking an ankle roll. I might permanently attach them via tacks or bolts just to get some use out of them, but the fasteners that come with them don't hold them still, even to a rubber bottomed sneaker. I bought the size that should fit a 10.5 US and it barely goes on the shoe but still doesn't stay put.

They are very helpful on snow, not so much on ice
They are very helpful on snow, not so much on ice. Mine were fairly easy to get on the shoe and back off, but Im noticing that they shift on the shoe while you are walking. I may look down and notice that the its shifted way to the left or right. Maybe a smaller size would do this less so but them getting it on the shoe may be extremely more difficult. Just be aware beforehand.

Good but runs small
Good product runs a little small I have a size 10 boot and it barely fits wish I had went with the 11+ size. As to snow and ice they work good not as good as cleats but these don’t tear every thing up and I don’t fall on my butt cause I’m wearing cowboy boots.

A bit to big for my 9.5 boot.
Works amazing if the treads on your boot are horrible. If you want these to work great I would suggest getting the smallest size possible and squize into them. Mine are a bit to big for my boot and move around sometimes but the still make a night and day difference.

Stitching is defective, could have caused injury.
Very disappointing! I thought since the Michelin name was on it, they would be great. Sadly, after only a few days, the stitching came undone on both and in the same areas. Once the stitching came undone, the rubber started rolling underfoot almost causing a fall.

WORTHLESS
This company makes an ice traction device with steel studs that I give five stars! Love them. this product however is dangerously worthless. DO NOTHING AT ALL TO PREVENT SLIPS ! STAY AWAY FROM THISMODEL 1

no good on ice

caution in warm climae
When the roof was hot, the rubber gets a little looser on my boots. just FYI.

Rather cumbersome
A great idea for slippy shoes and boots when spikes or coils aren't suitable, but the fastening is a bit awkward and mud can get between the gripper and the bottom of your shoe.
