Don't buy this product. The screw heads (2) literally snapped off on install. It came with 4. I had to drill out the broken half out of the door, glue in a wooden towel, sand, and repaint my brand new French door. Super frustrating. Don't waste your time or money.

I didn’t see the other reviews until later but I had the issue many others had in that the included screw caps came office while I was drilling them in. I not have to fix my French doors because I can’t get the metal part out. I even predrilled, but ended up moving it down, predrillkng larger holes, and screwing in VERY VERY slowly to get it to work. That being said, the lock works, but the paint on the stainless steel is so poor it scratches off on normal uses of the lock. The paint scratched off day one where you spin the lock. This is one of the worst products I’ve purchased from Amazon. Caused me so much frustration and would never had bought this. It cost me double to fix the mistake from the screws breaking, but I’m sure glad they saved money on just including good screws…

Not an outdoor product at all. The "stainless steel" is a lie.

Generally sloppy construction. Latch won't close door tightly because it is so loose. Set screws don't set flush. This latch will work, but you don't want it for any quality construction,

This item is garbage. As we were screwing in the screws the head broke off and now we have the base of the screw in the door but the head snapped off. Do not purchase.

The screws they give you with the latches are extremely CHEAP! I had the head of 6 out of 8 screws pop off making my latches unusable until I patch and repaint the areas and reapply the latches
