These went right up and had excellent heat transfer - they are a bit heavier metal so a standard staple gun will not work - not rugged enough to go through the metal into the plywood.

Great Product
Great price and worked like it is supposed to. I attached mine to the sub floor using 1/2" sheet metal screws and that worked really well. As I started to run low on screws I got out my Arrow T50 staple gun and used 1/2" staples and they worked really well and a lot faster. If you don't hold it tight you have to use a hammer to tap them in but still faster.

These Heat Transfer Plates work great in installing a sandwich style radiant floor heating system. I spaced my sleepers 3/4" apart and nailed the plates down between. The 1/2" pex tubing snapped in nicely to the plates which held the tubing firmly in place. I know that other types of plates had reviews saying the pex was proud of the surface when installed, but with these plates the pex is just a hair recessed from the top of the plate, perfect for flooring over.

Omega groved is the ONLY way to go!
Could not have been quicker or easier to install. I loved how my in-floor radiant heat pex tubes snapped right into place and HELD!
