Saved a pair of my favorite jeans
I'm a guy, so sewing & stitching is not my forte. I am picky about my clothes; especially jeans. The zipper kept breaking on them & I could not find a seamstress. So, I improvised & removed the zipper & replaced w these snap buttons. Now I can wear these & not be flashing everyone.

Good only for thick denim or thin leather
There is no hole punch that I saw. I messed up one snap and it took a metal drill bit to try to drill out the brad. This is tough metal! Once installed it was difficult to snap because of the very tight fit. I tilted it sideways to snap it in. I put this on a cotton jacket. If you try to unsnap it by pulling on the material, you'll rip the material. You must grip the snap to unsnap it. You may be able to unsnap with the material if it is heavy denim or thin leather.

These fasteners are great for placing a connection on fabricI took the pieces out of the box and placed them in front of me, looked them over for a momentand punched the material and went to work. No problem at allWhen you open the box and see all the parts, you are thinking no way will I figure this outGet a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and relax. and arrange the pieces in the correctorder and you will be fine

be careful installing
These snaps work BUT keep in mind each packet contains pairs, Separate your tops from the bottoms so you don't use the wrong one as I did on 2 before I saw my mistake. They are fairly simple to install just take your time if you have not done these before OR if it has been years since the last time you did them.

As usual, more Amazon Junk
If you need snaps installed, just take your project to a local auto/furniture upholstery shop and pay them to do it, you will be much better off. This product is as low of quality as one can get and almost impossible to set correctly with the provided die and setting tool. No way these will last very long. One thing I've finally learned is unless it's a known name brand, from Amazon you will get pure junk. At least I received what the post says, usually I get something similar but not what the post says, it's almost like they grab the closest similar item and kick it out the door. Don't waste your time with this pure crap , if I could give a negative rating I would. I'm sick of Amazon JUNK and having to return items that are not what the post states.
