Q: Dvd player has started to "catch" on a scene and then move fine, then another "catch and go", on and on. do i need cleaner or new player? help!

I wish i know how old your dvd player is, it is all ways best to clean the laser lens first and cheaper to, buy the RCA wet discwasher laser lens cleaner use it 5 to 8 time it sound like you have never clean it before. that should fix it. (ps use cleaner every 10 cd's or dvd's)

It has been a long time since I used it but I don't think it ran too long. My player hadn't worked right for quite awhile. I cleaned it once but it still skipped and chattered in places so I used it again. After that it worked perfect. Very little cost to get a unit working again.
