I was having trouble with nosebleeds because of the dry desert air. I was advised to use petroleum jelly to solve this problem, but didn’t want to put a petroleum-product in my nose. Nutroleum was a perfect alternative. Very happy with it.

This is a really nice alternative to petroleum jelly. It is moisturizing and I love that it is water soluble. I believe that it is better for my skin being water soluble. No grease. No pore clogging. Really like this product. Will keep buying it.

I needed a non-petroleum product because my mother's recent use of oxygen at bedtime was causing her nasal membranes to dry out and bleed. We've been using this for about a week and noticed a big improvement after just one day with less and less bleeding every day.

Gooey, sticky substance and by no means a natural alternative to petroleum jelly.

Helps my problem

I was looking for a water-soluble solution for my dry nose and it does not work as well as I'd hoped. Within 15 minutes the jellydries up and then I have to reapply it. Additionally there is a sticky feeling left anywhere the jelly is applied to, forcing you to wash your hands with soap to remove the sticky feeling.

I bought this after reading all of the positive reviews. It looks and feels like a slightly runnier version of petroleum jelly. I know people want to avoid petroleum based products, but this balm doesn't really do anything for your skin.
