Good modernization for the old maglight.
Did my 2-cell that fits in my camper first and was happy so bought another and did my 3-cell. Much brighter than the incandescent lamp.

More light!!
Very easy to upgrade. I have now brought my 3 Mag Light flashlights up to current LED lighting standards, with much longer use life. I have 4&5 D cell batteries. 😊😊

Nice Compromise
Installs as easy as changing a light bulb. Noticeably brighter than the first gen LED replacement it replaced in my 3D light. Hugely brighter than the original incandescent.This is a good compromise for price vs replacing the whole light mechanism AND it retains backwards compatibility with incandescent and 1st gen LED bulbs for the preppers out there.

Great upgrade over xenon bulbs. This throws light, not like the dissipating LEDs of old.
Nice bright white light that you can focus. Great throw of focused beam with ample castoff light. I added the dual 26650 battery conversion with this LED. Easy to install. Maglite on steroids. Worthy!PS - I haven't gotten it wet, so I can't address the water resistance, but it IS a Maglite with all the seals.

Poor manufacturing and quality control.
Quality is total garbage. The internal threads of the bulb don't screw on all the way to the socket of the flashlight so sometimes the bulb will not light up. This is very poor quality. It's as if it's the wrong thread on the bulb. Will never order this again. Paid a high price for 2 of these useless items. THUMBS DOWN!Update: I'm updating my review to 3 stars. I was given a full refund which shows they do care about their customers and I Thank them for that.UPDATE REPORT: I communicated with Lumencraft and the problem has been discovered and being resolved. They were thankful to me for bringing it to their attention.

New life for old maglite
Turned an old 4 cell D mag into a workhorse and the first light I grab around the house (Mostly because its big enough my kids can't lose it)

Unwanted additional junk in package.
Product works, but vendor included religious propaganda in the package. Definitely would not have bought had I known.
