This is an amazingly nice set of shears, particularly for this price! They are quite large, with very comfortable finger holes. They are also very sharp! They are sturdy enough to use to cut open cardboard shipping boxes so that I don't have to worry about ruining my Fiskers, and they're pretty enough that I can leave them sitting out on the counter as a conversation piece. I'm so pleased with mine that I'm planning on buying some for my friends for the holidays! If you enjoy having things that are slightly unusual, you'll love these! Highly recommend!

I thought the scissors had a more antique Victorian scroll look to them, but they are actually Chinese characters. The pictures don’t reflect a good quality close up look. They cut well!

the details on these scissors are lovely and use them all the time. My husband finds them useful too and used them for allot of things. I was worried that the blades would get dull quickly and they are still sharp and kicking.

I may be biased since I'm Chinese but I love the scissors because of how sharp they are and comfortable to hold. Growing up I've only see undecorated, stainless steel ones and those are a little... boring. I love the slightly worn look of these. They aren't real copper though, just painted copper with a weathered look. They do have a nice weight and are pointy enough to get into small corners and tight spaces.The only downside to the design is the two little swirls by the blades are really pointy. The pointy bits at the bottom of the handles don't poke but the upper ones do. But anyway, these should be for adult use only, not for kids or careless teens.I'm even considering buying a backup pair since I use these for everything.

I really have tiny fingertips. but I am constantly getting them stuck in the tiny fingertips holes of most embroidery scissors. I bought these to avoid that problem. These blades are sharp, quite narrow, and have a nice, comfortable, working weight to them. They are a lot also less easy to lose!

Great cut, very sharp. But the decorative curls have pinched my hands more than a few times. I had my brother machine them off and smooth the curls at the top so I don't get poked anymore.

As a crafter, I have many different scissors....from teeny ones for fussy cutting, to larger ones and many in between. What i like about these scissors, is that they're not heavy, they cut well and best of all, I can comfortably hold it without my fingers getting stuck in the finger ring...in the 4th pic I added 1 of my scissors so that you have a comparison.

These scissors are absolutely beautiful! I've had the copper scissors on wish list for a while but decided to go with the colorful. These scissors were a surprise to me weight wise. They are heavier, but I'm not mad with it. The craftsmanship is excellent and would easier make the price considerably higher if purchased elsewhere. They may take a bit of getting used to as far as positioning my fingers but thats not a problem. I'll probably order another pair.
