After my mechanic installed 2 factory knock sensors, and problem still existed. I ordered these, and light is off now. After 100 mile road trip to reset computer, it's still off!!!

I had a licensed mechanic install these sensors and they did not work. I have a 2002 Silverado 2500 6.0l I keep getting the low voltage on #2 code. Truck only has 180k KM. Not liking Chev engineers right about now, #2 was full of water.

I installed these in my 2005 Silverado about 18 months ago. I started getting codes indicating they were defective within a year. I finally replaced them with some AC Delco sensors. These came apart when trying to remove them. I had to break them both, remove the valley cover, then drill both stems out to remove them with an EZ-Out. Considerably cheaper than the real GM sensors, but definitely not worth the savings.
