Great memory game for 3+ but may be short lived
The media could not be loaded. This memory game is suitable for 1 or 2 players. And for age 3+. It comes in a lovely box that makes it suitable for a gift and at the current offer price of £6.33 it’s amazing value.I like that’s it’s not plastic pieces and they are made of wood with some cardboard parts. The idea of the game is you look at the card, memorise it, then turn it over and re create what was on the card with the wooden pieces.Great for younger children 3-6 maybe but would be too easy for older. My 3 year old loves this and loves the wooden pieces but I think won’t be played long term but overall a great development game that’s enjoyable too.

Great game
The media could not be loaded. Great quality for price. Exceptional game that has multiple uses can be played multiple ways and helps with hand eye coordination and then to learn the position in regards to a given object and then the memory as well. I can also help with developing language skills and communication. Very well made nice cute little wooden pieces shaped as animals or a mushroom. It says it’s for three years old and above but I think that can be played with two years olds as well under supervision. I do believe this is worth it.

Excellent for Little People
This is a game that will leave no toddler unmoved. It has that chunky-cardboardy appeal of the early days, it is bright and lovely and it educates children to care for nature. How? Very simply so - the little animals hide in the stump and are safe, they 'play' together and they all take turns to assume their positions. It has always been a big thing - learning through play, but I think grown-ups mostly underestimate the power of it. Very simple things can teach a child so much, and a grown-up will be none-the-wiser. I was. When my child took this game out to play, I was left flabbergasted - out came the collaboration context, caring for each other and tidying up around the stump area, and so on. And my child does not attend the nursery, so there is no way to explain it by assigning the context of play being introduced at the group. It's not groups that teach children things, it's wisely chosen games and toys that do, as your child already has learned everything there is to learn at this age, you just need some stimuli to be able to see it. And here it is - a toy that appeals to children who love and are close to nature, or are to be introduced to it. Highly recommended and well done for producing a toy without one piece of plastic in it.

Fun but a lack of variety
This is a memory game aimed at children aged 3 plus. And it's for 1- 2 players. I'd describe it as being more of a memory challenge than a memory game, especially if the child is playing by themselves. The idea is to recreate a woodland scene from memory using the pieces provided. The scenes are all printed on to a pack of glossy cards. The game is both well designed and thought out. All the component pieces are well made too.The animal figures are made out of wood and are painted on both sides, but the tree stump is made out of a cardboard tube. I've been playing it with my daughter and personally I don't think it's an overly challenging game. But it can be hard to judge these things from an adult perspective. There's no timer or score card. So it's more relaxed in that respect. It allows the child to take their time and work at their own pace. My daughter likes the set, although she is too young to be able to recreate the scenes from memory as of yet, she can match the pieces up to cards fairly easily already and she's only two. So I do wonder if there's is enough variety in the set to keep her interested in the long run.The scene cards are all pretty much the same, they just seem to add more figures. The game comes in a strong cardboard box with a removable lid and all the pieces fit in the box nicely.

Beautiful game with a few ways to play
The pieces to this game are just gorgeous. The tree trunks are a solid card and the animals are wooden painted. All pieces are nice and smooth with no sharp edges. There’s multiple ways to play the game, take turns to build a scene from the card by memory, Race to build a scene and the winner keeps the card. We also invented a game with a dice for my older children to play - choose a card using the same amount of pieces each, roll a 2 or a 4 and choose a piece you need, roll a 1 and you have to put a piece back roll a 3 and you can take a piece from another player, roll a 5 and miss a go, roll a 6 give another player one of you pieces. Agree at start how many scene pieces you both need and you can only have that many pieces, so if both cards need 4 pieces to build you can only hold 4 pieces, so you can be strategic if you roll a 6 and give the player a character they already have they to roll a 1 or a 6 to get rid of it before they can pick the one they need!
