I love the colours of these beads but was shorted 10 of the 100

They were small and not as bright colours as I expected

I was surprised to see negative reviews for this item. The beads are gorgeous and unlike some others I've bought, they are real--natural--stones. I received 14 beads of each stone as advertised: Rose Quartz, Blue Spot Jasper, Howlite, Blue Sodalite, Larvikite, Green Aventurine, Tiger Eye, Turquoise, Black Onyx, and Amethyst. Beads arrive in individual bead baggies according to stone. Okay, it's not the most environmentally sound approach, but if you're buying from a bead shop in-person, that's what you do. The stones have a matte not polished finish, which is what I wanted for some aromatherapy bracelets I'm making with lava stones. But the Tiger's Eye was so matte it looked like wood. At first, that was a little disappointing. But if you're looking for shine, you can add few drops of carrier oil, rub that in (I used rosehip seed oil) and they take on a beautiful sheen that enhances their color. You can see that in the 2nd photo where I placed a sample of oiled beads in a dish. Overall, I'm really happy with the quality of beads this brand, Massive Beads, provides.

I thought I was getting 100 of each color. Instead, I got 10 of each stone, equalling 100 stones in total.

These beads are real and seem like good quality but mine were not all the same size. I ordered 8mm and the hematite were 7mm. I make jewelry for myself for fun so I'll still be able to use them but it's not what I ordered. Would've been 5 stars if they were all the same size.
