I bought before different kind and it was very good. This brand it look good on the picture I tell you the truth in ruin my tea a dump everything to the garbage I just to bitter.

Bought this due to the description of it being organic sweet orange peel, however, there is no indication on the package of an organic certification.Very disappointed as I only noticed this after I opened it to use. Arrrrghh!

If you like orange peel that is bitter-tasting, more white than orange, and tooth-threateningly hard, then this is just the product for you! Unfortunately I was looking for orange zest that is "sweet" and "orange", which is what I thought I would get when ordering Sweet Orange Peel Organic Zest. Maybe I got a bad batch, or maybe it was switched at birth with their "bitter orange peel," but I found it completely unusable.

I assumed that sweet orange peel would be sweet. This peel is bitter and specifically not sweet, and not sweetened. I soaked it in hot water and left it for 24 hrs and the texture was unacceptable for baked goods. Much too tough to bite into in a cake.
