I used this to mend a kevlar wick that had begun to fray and it worked perfectly. It is just as fire resistant as the wick and is sturdy enough to stay together.

This is not 0.8mm as I measured. it is only 0.3mm

I tore this while trying to re-string a wind chime... catch that... I TORE THIS?!?!?!?!If I pulled this in a knot in frustration and broke it, THIS CANNOT BE KEVLAR!!!!!Garbage, don't buy this...
