These are plastic, not metal. The “brushed aluminum” refers to the look rather than construction. That said, it is a sturdy little case and the magnetic latch keeps you cigarettes secure. You don’t have to worry about accidentally crushing/bending your cigarettes with one of these. Definitely worth the investment.

The cases are plastic not aluminum. So far they work well.

I've had these for over a year and a half. Both for 100s and Kings. The only real issue that I have, and it's only cosmetic, is that they dent. Since the outsides of them are made of aluminum, they dent very easily, but the insides of them are hard plastic, so while they may look poor on the outside if they get dented, it won't affect their ability to hold a pack of cigarettes. I haven't seen very many different types of these types of cases and will keep buying them as I need to - if I ever find a non-cosmetic reason to do so. If you roll your own smokes, this is a good buy!

All in all.. its a cheap, plastic case to hold your RYOs/MYOs..Nothing special. Will pop open(weak magnet?) if you drop it and ALL your cigs will go flying out.That is if you dont try stuffing it full of 20. It will break a few, if you do. It can "comfortably" handle 17-18.Lid has 2 sml "nubs", 1 on each side, that will also break/crush any cigarette unlucky enough to meet them..so you have to purposefully check/arrange every time you shut it. Those can probably be cut/sanded off.Hasnt broke yet, but will be looking for something a bit better designed.At least it was 2 for the price.

This works so well with the cigarettes that I rolled I buy the king tubes it stays closed as it should the cigarettes don't get damaged so the tobacco falls out it holds everything in place as it should works well

These Roygra Cigarette Case, Brushed Aluminum Magnetic 20 Capacity - "2 Pack" are a GREAT value for the price. I do not understand what others say about the quality, they are 2 for $10... what, do they think they're getting some gold plated, gucci, product? For the $'s, it's a heck-of-a deal.Sure, they won't hold 20 "make-your-own" cig's, which I noticed a good handful of other reviewers state, but they will hold at least 15+. Gosh, how many do you need to take for the day, oh yeah, this is a 2 pack, so take 30+ with ya. And if you smoke more than that, order another pair so you can take 60+ on your daily outing.Nifty that it will actually fit a standard cig box inside the case. As I re-used my old brand cig boxes, now they are a nice tight fit -and- the original box has that foil deal, so it keeps the cigs from flopping around. Note: there are little tabs in the lid, so if ya take out the old box, you will need to manipulate that when removing, it's not difficult at all.I highly suggest, to those who are not coordinated enough to close the lid with out damaging your precious cargo, go buy a pack of your favorite smokes and then reuse the box in this product, just say'n, it works like a champ.Highly Recommend this product... that is, if you are not incompetent.
