These are REALLY nice bags - well they were 2 years ago, now...maybe
They are durable, large enough for many uses, tightly rolled and don't unwind on their own. I bought them to use when cleaning out kitty litter boxes, but use them for vegetable and fruit storage as well. They put the store bags to shame. Could easily be washed and reused for home use. If I'd known I could buy these bags a couple of years ago I would have rather than hoard the flimsy fly away bags from the produce market. I said they were REALLY nice and I meant it. If you're looking for this size bag, you cannot possibly go wrong. Hope the quality never changes.Update 9/6/2015: I'm about out of the original bags so I placed another order and while the offer on Amazon looks the same in 2015 as it did in 2013, the product is different, and I'm annoyed that as a consumer the seller doesn't say that "if you've bought this before, don't count on it being the same the next time". I buy these to accomodate heavy kitty litter and I'm not confident the newer bags will perform as the old ones, they seem flimsy and made out of a different material although the guage is advertised to be the same. Time will tell about their durability as compared to the original bags. I wish Amazon would take some responsility with their sellers and demand they be up front with consumers about changed, altered, and different products. Its misleading to me, deliberately. Oh the the price is $10.00 more, a 50% increase in 2 years.

Perfect for My Needs
For years and years I used grocery store produce bags--sometimes we would go to the management and buy a roll--to pick up my dogs' droppings in the back yard every day. I put my hand into the bag, use it like a glove to pick up the pile, then turn the bag inside out over the poo--leaving the outside nice and clean. Then I would tie the top shut and deposit it in the garbage.About 4 years ago I thought I was ordering the same kind of bags from a mail-order company, and what I got were VERY heavy. I could not tie the tops. It was a huge hassle to use them. They were expensive, too.I finally couldn't stand it anymore, and searched online until I found these and ordered them. They are exactly what I need. I keep one or more folded and in my pocket, so that I don't have to run back and forth to the house when I see a pile in the back.Years ago I was like most people for awhile, and let the piles sit in the fenced back yard. Then a dog got hookworms, and the hookworms infested the soil, so the dog got them again...the other dog got them, too. So we learned, if you pick up quickly, the soil stays far, far safer--for people as well as for dogs. It also saves a lot of poopy feet from stepping in it!I got a nice big supply, but when I get down to one roll, I will be ordering again!

Thickness change renders these useless
I ordered these bags several years ago and was incredibly impressed by their durability and use them for quite a lot of things around the house. When i ran low, i went to reorder the same bags, but the bags that came the second time around looked different right out of the box. The first batch had the green printing visible in the Amazon image, but the new batch didn't. The new batch was also noticeably thinner. So thin, in fact, that while I was doing a comparison of the older bags with the newer ones, the newer bag tore in my hand.I can't say for sure whether it's an issue with the retailer trying to do a bait and switch or if the bag quality simply changed over the years or if it's simply a quality control issue between batches, but this is a massive disappointment. Needless to say, these are going back

Quality Plastic Bags
My city has banned plastic bags at grocery stores, so I turned to buying these online because I use them to dispose of litterbox cleanings. Mind you, we actually still have the produce bags, just not the plastic carry out 'Thank you' bags, but after I got these I couldn't believe I hadn't done bought them earlier. It's great always having good bags on hand without holes. The plastic bags are a bit large for the purpose of holding my twice daily gathering of cat waste, but I just twist the bag around on itself a few times to give my nasty bundle of odor a couple extra layers of plastic covering. The smell does eventually still get out, but I imagine it helps. The plastic on these bags is decently thick too, better quality than what my grocery store actually uses.

Better than expected
I am not able to verify if the count is accurate, but the bags are thicker and sturdier than I expected and I am using them them for many more purposes than originally planned.

Very satisfied with the bag quality and the bulk price
Edit: I've decided to change my rating from 5 stars to 3 for this listing and that's being generous since the quantity is falsely advertised. I like the bags. No complaints there. I've even re-ordered. However, I have to echo what another user reported: there are most definitely NOT 1520 bags. Closer to half that.Original: I bought the 12x20 bags for daily cleaning of my cats' litter box. It actually feels stronger than the produce bags I was getting from markets in California. Very satisfied with the bag quality and the bulk price.

goo bags
I use these for my garbage bags and to take lunch to work. Good bag, not too sturdy, but good enough for what I need. As long as you don't overstuff it. Price is very "ok" except the shipping is too expensive. I could get them at my local vegetable store, but they charge around $7-$8 per roll anyway and this way I get 4 rolls delivered to my door and don't have to drag them home from the store. This is the only "plus" I can think of.

The bags are thick and sturdy. I don't have to worry about the bags ...
I have the Breville Juice Fountain (juicer) and I use it as a pulp bag. The bags are thick and sturdy. I don't have to worry about the bags leaking or breaking apart. It's a lot cheaper than purchasing the pulp bags that Breville sells. Those are a total rip off. The bags are so much better and cheaper. These bags are also thicker than the plastic bags they have at the produce/fruits sections in the supermarkets. The length of the bags is longer than average too. I don't have to worry about not having enough room on the top to tie the bag since the bags are long.
