You only have to cut your watermelon once, then you use this gadget for the rest. It's really easy and works just like it says. Love it.

Although this seems like a great idea, I found that it didn't really save much time vs cutting a halved watermelon into slices.However, I will keep it and use it in situations where I want to keep the watermelon shell to use as a decorative serving container

The watermelon slicer worked very well, right up until it broke doing the second half of the watermelon. The box said there was a lifetime warranty for breakage. I sent the company an email several weeks ago but have yet to receive a reply. This is too expensive for only one use

Great.. Until it broke after a handful of uses.Love the concept of this gadget and I thoroughly enjoyed using it until it broke. It appears from reviews of the various watermelon slicers that they are prone to breaking after a short time of use. It really does make the job of cutting watermelon faster and easier with less mess, but if it can't hold up for longer than a handful of uses then it's just not worth it to me. Sadly, I have give this product a thumbs-down.

I think it takes a couple tries to get it right. But it is still way less messy with this tool than a knife.And I think the size of the melon plays a big part in it. The only one I have used it on so far, was biggerthan I usually buy so the tool didn't really reach all the way to the bottom. But I like it and I bought 2 sogave one to a friend who was excited to try it.

Definitely a time saver for me! Good quality- made with stainless steel and a silicone handle. Easy to use! Shipping was quick and the company is truly concerned about customer satisfaction! I know we will be using it over the entire summer!

There is a learning curve for this product which I did not anticipate. It's more difficult to insert than I expected. Once I figured it out it was ok but it did not save my any time compared to slicing my melon with a standard knife.
