WOW! Major game changer. I would have bought a nicer mat years ago if I had known it would matter this much. I was mostly interested in non slip. No problems there. It sticks nicely. The padding is excellent and somehow feels more stable. Rolls out flat and perfect, no corners curling. Doesn't move around. It is on the heavy side but that doesn't matter to me. I do classes at home on video and am not carrying it around. It is very classy and beautiful, which is just an extra perk. Excellent mat for the price. Love love love it! Will for sure be getting another one!

I just opened this shipment and I'm already very happy with it. I never invest more than 15 bucks on a yoga mat but this was a good buy! I'm happy that I splurged a little on this mat as the quality is really worth the extra money especially for the thickness being just what I was looking for. Its not that THICK foamy material under a pattern.Its firm enough where I don't feel like I'm sinking into the mat, and its still provides that cushion that I need for my knees and and hands. The material underneath is pretty good at keeping the mat in place and I feel like its secure and I'm not afraid of it slipping off.I was looking for a mat that I was gonna feel good working on, being pretty and functional without going over board price.

I love this yoga Mat! Its gorgeous, feels great against your skin, but it can be a little tough to stay in downward facing dog. Not horribly so, but you will feel yourself slipping a little.I personally am very happy with it, and used it for a yoga class I took at my local community college during the summer. The mat endured 4 yoga classes a week, that were 1.5 hours long, for 4 or 5 weeks. It still looks and feels amazing after being broken in.I personally do not like the rubber or tacky feeling mats, and I sweat a lot during yoga. This mat helped absorb a lot of that sweat so that I didn't end up in a puddle.You will also notice, when you first start using it that your hands may hurt a bit from the texture. It lasted about a week of class for me, and then the mat felt fine on my hands.Also, you will need to air the mat out a bit, as there is a rubber smell. Mine only has a small hint of that smell anymore, as in you have to put your nose right up to the mat to smell a hint of rubber. I suspect that the feeling and smell of this Matt improves with time.I hope this review is helpful.

The first thing I noticed about this mat when it arrived was how heavy it is. It feels like hauling around a Persian rug! Once I got over the weight of the mat, I realized that it is large but not too large and very comfortable. It is well made and I love the design. It does not slip and offers enough padding. It's a bit harder to clean that your run of the mill pvc mat, but doable with a washcloth and a spray of Lysol or Fabreeze every now and then. I recommended the mat to the gals in my yoga class.

Sooo...I’m not the most in-shape yogi. I mean, round is a shape...but that’s about it. Lol I was a little worried about buying this mat because it is made out of jute, but I was so very pleasantly surprised. I have awful knees and hips, and I can honestly say this is the best mat I’ve ever had. Super comfortable! And it doesn’t slide on the floor either! It stays in place. The cherry on top? It’s absolutely gorgeous. I had so many ooohs and ahhhhhs in class tonight. I’m certain some of my Kula will also purchase this mat, though hopefully a different design. 😂

HELLO GORGEOUS! Holy smokes, this is a real mat. It’s not another version of those crappy typical yoga mats. It can be washed, so now I can start actually placing my face/head/cheek down onto my mat. The cushion factor is incredible, too. I haven’t used it yet because I just got it and I’m airing it out on my deck before class tomorrow. I know it’s going to be great. It’s silky soft. Not the least bit rough or scratchy. If there’s a slipping issue, I’ll update this review. Buy it and let’s start a new trend away from boring, germy, and cheap. 😉

Mat is very slippery, much more so than my other mats. Weight is significant compared to my manduka classic and it does not offer the same level of cushioning. Additionally, the rubber material on the bottom has begun to flake off after several sessions. The pattern is very nice, but I purchased a functional yoga/exercise mat, not a peice of art.

I am totally new to yoga so I wasn't sure about which mat to purchase. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this one and I am glad that I did. Not only is it comfortable (thick padding on the underside) but it looks nice as well.
