This is a great little bag if you need something lightweight and packable. I have arthritis and often find it easier to carry things on my back than in a purse. Because this bag packs into such a small stuff bag, I am able to carry it in my purse until I need it then pop it out and put my purse in the backpack. I also used it as my carryon and primary bag during a 9-day trip to New York City. We went to a couple of places that did not allow backpacks and it was simple to put everything in my purse and stuff the backpack into its bag. It handled the wear and tear beautifully and is so lightweight I hardly noticed I was carrying it. The straps have a nice texture on the underside to keep them from sliding off.Things to know before buying:-not waterproof-slightly transparent-no structure or paddingI find the weight and packability make up for these possible issues, especially the lack of padding since padding adds weight.

Great stuff sack backpack.... I use it all the time. I bought this brand because I had another of their packs that was really well made. I want a zipper that will keep working and so far this is a good little pack.Although I'm slightly concerned about the tag that read "contains something known to the state of California to cause cancer".Of course, I'm sure it can't be as bad as keeping a cell phone next to your groin year after year.

I recommend it for keeping it in your regular bag, in case you suddenly need more room for something else but can't pack it in your regular bag. Because it's flimsy (but strong), items in the backpack do show through, especially things with definite shape and have weight. You'll definitely see the shape of a hammer or thermos bottle through there. But who cares if it's just to carry extra toting just to go home. If it doesn't fill out the bag, it looks like a shapeless rag you're carrying around.

This little bag is tiny and lightweight, yet its amazing how much can be packed into it without ripping a seam. It held up while traveling through Central America carrying a water bottle, assorted food, rainwear, glass case, passport, guidebook etc on day trips. Equally useful when biking back from the store with an assortment of food; the corners of boxes were visible, but never ripped the seams or the material. when not using it, can be rolled into the tiny bag in which it is delivered. So good, I'm buying another for family members now.
