Easier to work with and less toxic smell than other name, (or no name) brands
I have to say that working with any kind of acrylic can be tricky without, (and sometimes even with) the correct tools but this brand hasn't actually been too bad. I was able to successfully cut through, heat and mold the material with more ease that other brands of acrylic I've worked. The other plus that I have to mention that the smell is NO WHERE near the horrible toxic smell of some of the other brands I've used. All in all this is a brand that I will be coming back to when in need of acrylic for different projects.Pros:- Pretty easy to work with when cutting/scoring- Toxic Smell nowhere near as bad as some of the other brands of acrylic- Bonds together well with J-B-Weld Plastic Epoxy and J-B-Weld Plastic Putty- Pretty easy to mold with a heat gun as long as you're careful- Very clear and see through once the protective plastic is pulled off, (great for picture frames).Cons:- Does have some off gassing like any plastic material- It's working with plastic... any kind of plastic is always tricky to work with so make sure you have the right tools for the job.Suggestion:- If you're using a jig saw to cut the materal I would highly recommend using like the Bosh "Clean Plexiglass" blades. They are made for acrylic and other plastics, have come in VERY handy and make nice smooth cuts. They can be found on Amazon here: Bosch T102BF 3-5/8-Inch X 13-Tpi, T-Shank Clean-Cut for Plexiglas Jigsaw Blade, 3-Pack
