Cuisinart 5919-18R Elements Saucepan, 2-Quart, Red

I bought this Cuisinart Pan in 2017. I have really enjoyed using it. Wishing any grease off is a breeze. All has been well till today. I noticed that the white porcelain is wearing off. There are tiny dots everywhere in the pan. I have always hand washed it with a light sponge and a mild liquid soap. I feel rather disappointed.This is scary!It’s beyond return date. But I just wanted to share this with others.However, it was a pleasure to use it for just over a year.Thanks Cuisinart, but you need to improve on the porcelain part!

this is a great pan for the house. i work in kitchens and would not expect this to take that kind of abuse. i treat it nice, cook on mid-high heat, and clean it very gently (spray out immediately, wipe out with soap and a soft sponge, and hand dry) and i expect it will last quite some time. .

I cook almost every night and after ruining my last pot cooking a rice dish I purchased this saucepan and I LOVE IT. Since I purchased it I've cooked the same rice dish in this saucepan and didn't have any issues. The food didn't burn and it was extremely easy to remove as well as wash.

I am very pleased with this saucepan. Food cooks at lower temperatures and does not stick to the pan. It cleans like a dream.The silicone handle on both the pan and the lid are a plus. It seems to be well constructed as I would expect a Cuisinart product to be.

Can't think if anything to dislike in this pan. It's great as all my Cuisinart pans are. They clean up so easy. The pan is a bit pricey but worth the money when it's something you use every day.

Great saucepan...just what I needed. I like the metal rim...it won't chip like the ceramic edge one I have on another brand.

Cuisinart is very thick, sturdy cookware. Nothing sticks to this pan, which makes it quite easy to clean. The size is perfect for vegetable and other types of side dishes, like rice for example. We love it and use it nearly every day.

This is a beautiful product. Wipes clean and doesn't accumulate junk on the bottom of the pan. I have used it for several weeks and it is still bright and beautiful as when I got it.
