Great LED light strip, exactly what I needed!
This is exactly what I needed in a light strip:- High LED density: 60 LEDs/meter. This is the highest you can get, and most of the other light strips out there have half or one third of that. Look for 300 LEDs/16 feet, or 600/32 feet to get this density. This made my home project super bright per inch!- Its NOT waterproof. This is perfect for me, the waterproofing makes the light strips less flexible for projects where you need to turn tight corners inside small spaces. Be careful not to break the strip with the tight corners, keep them turn on while applying so you can see if you are bending it beyond what it can accept.- 5050 LEDs: this means each LED has all 3 colors. Watch out for the 2835 LEDs, that is a very inferior quality, with each LED only having one color, and so if you set it to blue it will light one LED and turn off two others.- Great adhesive, but READ THIS: the white adhesive really likes to stick to the blue backing. It is very difficult to get them separated in the beginning, use long nails and a box cutter. If you think you removed the blue backing and its white on one side then you removed the adhesive too, put it back.- Only downside is it doesn't come with the power supply and remote control. Get a 44 key remote control and a 5 Amp power supply. This strip needs 2.7A, so 5A should work well.
