I'm 5'9" and a size 22, hourglass shape, with a very round postpartum belly (think: still look 6 months pregnant, but with a saggy pooch hanging off the bottom) and long legs w/bulky thighs and wide hips, and wanted a swimsuit bottom that gave me more overall coverage, as I always feel super self-conscious out in public in a normal swimsuit. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size up to be on the safe side, and I'm glad I did; they fit perfectly! And if you didn't know they were a swim bottom, you'd think they were black capri leggings; very fashionable! The only thing I wish these had is a tummy support panel; I ended up wearing the Elomi Essentials high-waist brief under these to achieve the support I needed, which worked out great (but cost me an additional $58 that I really didn't want to spend). I wore them to my son's 5th birthday party at a local water park, and felt more comfortable than I've ever felt in a swimsuit! Perfect coverage, not too clingy (having the double layer helps with that a ton, as the outer layer just stays put while the inner layer does the clinging when wet), SUPER comfortable. The legs stop right at my knees, and they pull up to my natural waist, completely covering my tummy - exactly as I'd hoped! They also dry fairly quickly if you're out in the hot sun due to the material they're made from. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, and have even recommended them to my mother (who is also a plus size woman and equally uncomfortable in a swimsuit in public).

These are awesome! Great construction, not see-through, cute but modest. Exactly what I was looking for to wear to the beach this year. In my opinion, they run a little big, but based on other reviews I expected that and ordered down a size. I am a size 16, and ordered the XL. It fits perfect when dry, and I probably could have gotten away with a size L for a more secure fit in the water, but I think they'll still be fine. Worth every penny!

Okay, the absolute BEST thing about these Jammerz is the quality. THEY ARE THE BEST!! Love the color, love the length! The not so good part is the sizing is a little off. I usually get a large during this stage of my life; however, I followed the sizing chart and ordered a medium. The waist is too loose and this is without me even getting them wet. I've already worn them to the gym, which is when I realized after sweating that they would fall off of me if I was to swim in them. Argh. Too late to return them. Other than that, they were everything I'd hoped for but do wish they fit a little more snug to stay up. Delivery service was super fast!

I love these swim shorts! Purchased for a vacation in June, so I have not worn them in the water yet. They look great and feel comfortable. I can wear a swim suit and not feel like I need to wrap a towel to cover the not so lovely thighs!The teal matches the Swimdress perfectly.  Swim 365 Women's Plus Size Swimdress With Asymmetric Tiers, Dark Turq Multi,16 Purchased an xl when I wore a size 16 jeans and they fit snuggly but comfortably. I've lost some weight (yeah me) so I am hoping they still fit. The only thing I would like to see is a draw string at the waist. It would compensate for small weight changes and allow for any adjustments, if needed, when they get wet.I'm 5' 3" and they come to just below the knee. No see through so you don't need to wear anything underneath.

i wore them for boogie boarding. they fit as expected. i ordered L. i am very large in the hips, 5'5 and i wear a women's u.s. size 14-16 pant. they covered what i wanted them to cover, but they are super uncomfortable. although they fit nicely when dry, the waves kept knocking them down and i spent half the time tugging them back up which was not easy. if you just want them to lay on the beach, or walk on the boardwalk they might be okay. but for 42$ why bother? you can buy cheap faded glory leggings from walmart for 3 bucks and treat yourself to several rounds of margaritas with the money you'll save. also, as others have mentioned, there is no draw string. i have big hips, but a narrow waist. if you lose any weight you these won't fit properly. i also ordered the Ekouaer board shorts. haven't worn them in the water, but they are way more comfortable and lightweight, cost a 1/3 of the price and they have a drawstring.

Finally! Swim shorts that are practical. LOVE these things. All my friends ask where they can get a pair. Swim bottoms that are flattering and comfortable; who knew such a thing existed? If you don't enjoy wearing impractical, underwear-style bottoms in public then get yourself a pair of these bad boys and start playing with your kids in the pool again. I had proper coverage and didn't feel like a self conscious beached whale. Thank you to whoever designed these. Not one sunburn either!

I was so thankful that these Capri style suits were an option. I just recently had knee surgery on both knees, and the style will cover those scars on my knees! Thankful!

I didn't follow other reviewers and order a size down, because im plus size and always need the extra room... That was a mistake. I actually ended up ordering down 2 sizes for a more snug/hug the body fit to ensure they really stay up. Another issue was with the sinch strings at the bottom of the capris/side of the calf. One of them was not even connected to the swim capris right out of the package. I'm hoping to be able to exchange since they were broken. All this aside. I do love these, the material is nice, they cover where I want to be covered, they work well for hiking and then a swim and dry out reasonably quick. I haven't noticed any fading in chlorine. As long as I can exchange the broken pair, I will be ordering several more in different colors! Plus SPF 50 is an added awesome bonus!
