quite disappointed with this purchase as it the first time i have spent more than £10 on a yoga mat and it is not fit for purpose. I have been using it a month or so now and I was hoping it would break in (there is still time ) but since day one it has been a struggle to keep hands from sliding during a downward dog, which is obviously quite an integral pose. If anyone has any ideas on how to make it less slippy and more grippy I am open to ideas as otherwise this is a pretty useless mat. However it looks good, i like the lines for help and it smells great so far. Also doesn't molt plastic bits which is always great!

I've had this for over a month now and have used it daily. It had a slight defect in the cork surface and the cork layer is very thin, but overall I am pleased with the quality for the price I paid. It had a strong rubber smell at first but I hung it up somewhere to air for a couple of days and it doesnt smell that much now. It provides just the right amount of cushioning for my knees and it looks good. No sign of wear as of yet.

I have 2 other mats that aren't cork surfaced mats, and after hearing so much about them, decided to get one - WHY THE H3LL DID I NOT GET ONE SOONER - OMG! I think if I had started with a cork mat I would have got further in practice sooner than I have.It's safer, because the grip to floor and when you have sweaty hands is amazing, and because you're so secure you can get brave with stands or stretches, and the thickness is perfect, cushioning - perfect, and as for using cork blocks on the mat? secure and grips the cork mat.I'll still use my other mats, on balcony or at the park etc but I'm now a cork convert.

Bought this for my other half who found the rubber mats horrible to use during the summer due to heat and sweating. This mat has changed how often he is doing yoga, daily now! He says it is one of the best gifts I have ever got him and it is so much more comfortable to use than his previous ones.

It feels perfect even outside. The fact that is more eco-friendly a plus. Would definitely say if you thinking about buying this do.
