1 of the hats came without snaps- just empty holes

One of the hats arrived with a broken slide (you squeeze a button and slide up to tighten the hat) however the broken one did have a slightly different design than the other three. The other three worked fine. Overall seems like a fine group of hats for the price.

These hats are what I expected for quality based on their cost. If they had not come compressed and wrinkled I would give them 5 stars. These hats are 40% Polyester and 60 % cotton. Cheap hats but about right for the money and in the manor I would use them they will last a while. The issue I have is that they came vacuum packed and were as flat as pancakes, badly wrinkled and creased. steaming them did not help so I ended up taking an hour and a half to iron them. I used a spray bottle with water to dampen them and then put the iron on the cotton setting. I brims were easy to iron tho the crease marks still sow but they are flat now, I rigged a large metal coffee can with a folded towel to iron the top of the cap and rolled a towel and held it inside the cap to iron the sides. (be careful if you do this). The sides of the cap are double fabric so ironing the inside of the cap will not help with the outsides of the cap. When you iron the outside of the cap be careful of the nylon strap at the base of the cap as the iron will melt it if you hold it on it for too long. Maybe a lower setting on the iron may prevent this but it won't get the wrinkles out of the fabric too well. I was able to iron around it. The wrinkles came completely out of the cap part of the hat. It took abut 1 1/2 hours to iron the caps to the point where they look o.k. IF YOU PURCHASE THESE HATS AND YOU CHOOSE TO IRON THEM, BE CAREFUL WITH THE IRON AS THEY HAVE 40 PERCENT POLYESTER AND MY BURN OR MELT IF YOU HOLD THE IRON ON THEM TOO LONG.

All the hats fit great and at that price, how do you pass it up?

They really are a great value for the price!

I wear them everyday at work outdoors (national parks maintenance) in the sun and wind. The strap works really good in locking/keeping the hat from blowing away. I like that its lightweight and breathable, it keeps your head cool. This is great use for hiking and other outdoor activities. I actually saved them on my buy-list to buy again!
