According to the Neutrik assembly instructions NAC3FCA can be assembled using round cable with a range of cable diameters (Da) using either the white or black chuck supplied;Using the white chuck - Da = 6.0 mm 0.236" - 11.0 mm 0.433"Using the black chuck - Da = 9.5 mm 0.374" - 15.0 mm 0.59"Round cables that meets the requirements of the national electrical code (NEC) for use in the USA will be labeled with a lettered code. Many of these cable types are acceptable but costly special purpose types. In practice, for use with 120v AC circuits, the cost effective type will be an SJxxx 300v cable with 3 copper wires, for Line, Neutral and earth. For use with 240v AC circuits, the cost effective type will be an Sxxx 600v cable with 3 copper wires, for Line, Neutral and earth. This connector is rated for use up to 20A, but the wire gauge would be determined by the length of the cable and the expected load current. Given the minimum cable diameter (see above) cables with 18 AWG and smaller conductors may not meet the minimum diameter. For cables 50' or less; using 16 AWG for loads to 8A, 14 AWG for loads to 15A and 12AWG for loads to 20A is a conservative but reasonable recommendation. If you choose to use a pre-made cord to take advantage of a molded plug or receptacle, the wire gauge should be confirmed by measurement ... copper prices remain high.Do not use any product labeled only as "speaker cable" "primary wire" "data cable" or "signal cable" for power cables. Even the ratings appear to be comparable, the insulation for those cable types isn't expected to withstand conditions like power spikes that occur routinely.

Seetronic do they do the same work? Just different brand?

I have been told that they are interchangeable with the only noticeable difference being the type of plastic being used for the body. I personally have never used any "off brand" versions so I'm uncertain as to the durability. I've never had a Neutrik PowerCon fail. Just an observation.
