My large dog barks constantly at other surrounding neighbor's dogs. I have bought 2 sonic sound dog barking machines to mount on the fences which work great when I turn them on at night but I wanted something like this whistle I could use during the day, just to remind him to calm down if he get on a barking tangent. I have tried it multiple times and all it does is sound like a regular little whistle which makes the neighborhood dogs bark more. My dog looks at me once when I use it, then completely ignores it the rest of the time. Maybe i'm using it wrong but it seems pretty self explanatory.

Arrived on time. I was a bit disappointed that it was a silver/metallic finish as the picture shows a black metallic finish. Other than that it is everything they advertised it to be.

I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest review. The first time using this my dog went nuts. She hated it but once i was able to change the pitch she just freezes in her tracks. As for training her to stop barking at everyone and everything is yet to be seen.

It's just a cheap noisy whistle. The dog was totally unaffected by it and it irritated everyone in the house but the dog. Nothing ultrasonic about it. Gumball machine quality for $9.

It did not work on the dogs at the rescue I was volunteering at.
