These will sprout in mason jars but they are better sprouted straight up in a tray for 6 plus days , there are other methods that are better for sunflower greens , you can also use soil inside in a tray :-)

it all depends on your region, do a search for your area and temperatures for each variety of plant and plant accordingly :-)

Will these sprout outside in a barrel where I have planted sunflower seeds in the past?

these are sproutable seed, whether you grow them as a microgreen or plant outside they will grow :-)

these are Helianthus Annuus, we only grow for micro green use, you can plant them outside etc.. we have no expertise in outside growing to a plant on ly sprout/microgreens.

Low Germination Rate

Only small amount of seeds germinated. I really expected these seed to robustly germinate after reading all the great reviews. Nope. It's disappointing because I needed a good harvest to use in a recipe. Would send back but I missed the return window.
