Skar Audio VD-12 D2 12" 800W Max Power Dual 2 Ohm Shallow Mount Car Subwoofer

Installed in a Skar vented box with a 500W skar amp. It plays LOUD, low frequencies, and surprisingly even volume across 30-80 hz. This sub will piss your neighbors off with the output. Not the cleanest sound quality sub you can get but a smoking deal at the price point. It's well built for a budget sub.

I'll admit I'm not an audiophile, for my first build I went with this subwoofer and it will rattle the heck out of my car when its turned up. I'll call that a success!

I bought 3 of these and built a custom enclosure and put them in a 95 single cab f250. Out of all the shallow mount subs i have had in that truck these are by far the loudest ones. They are all powered by a 2500 watt amp. They are built to last. The only negative thing i can think of is that the mounting holes in the metal and rubber didn't line up perfect when screwing them to the box but it's still not that bug of a deal you can get all the screws in pretty easy. I won't buy anything besides skar from now on

When buying used or pre-owned know there could be issues, unfortunately I had one of my 2 speakers go out very quick and I am currently waiting for a replacement.

Skar is definitely the best bang for your buck! I got a cheap box for it off amazon and a skar amp for it and she sounds good in my single cab 1980 ford f150! I have a pioneeer deck in it with Kenwood speakers. She don’t like the super lows but it’ll get some good lows still, overall I’m very impressed with it

Just got these professionally installed yesterday. Cannot speak on longevity of course but man I gotta say I am very very impressed. These are of very good quality compared to the price you pay. The guy I had install these been doing installations for 20+ years and he was very impressed with the construction and sound of these. They hit hard af. I believe they can surpass their advertise 500 RMS but definitely gotta break it in first.

Super Strong and Really loud. Running a 600 Alpine Amp and handles the power.

Speaker had no sound out of the box thought it was some of my settings so as I was checking them I heard a crackling sound. Upon inspection the speaker fried. 10 mins after installed. And before anyone says anything. Gain was barely up on a 500 watt rms amp . Plus iv been installing systems for 20 plus years. The speaker is crap. And the fact the I can't even get a replacement speaker let alone my money back. They now they got a crap product that works 50 percent of the time and none of the worries of refunding anything. So there just going to keep selling there crap. They got me don't let them get you

Used subs for 3 months and they popped. Stick to quality brands like alpine, pioneer, Rockford or JL audio 👎🏽. Seller only provides 90 days and is not an authorized Skar audio dealer so Skar audio will not accept any warranty on these items.
